In this exciting part-time entry level customer service position employees work to strengthen our relationships with our valued Discover Card members. Successful agents can expect to become a full-time Specialty Team within six to twelve months!
In this inbound customer service position great candidates must have: A helpful and friendly customer service focused attitude. An ability to connect and engage, on a short phone call, with our valued Discover Card members.
No specific experience is required. If you have provided GREAT Customer Service in any of the following areas, we would love to meet you:
Key Responsibilities: Assist card members with identifying charges and provide options to customers on how to resolve, Take payments from card members, Answer customers inquiries regarding purchases they do not recognize, Gain valuable customer service/call center experience, Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. Key Skills/Qualifications: A helpful and friendly customer service focused approach. An ability to connect and engage, on a short phone call, with our valued Discover Card members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with keyboarding/typing. The capability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment. Excellent organizational skills.
Part-Time 25-29 hours per week
No time off allowed during training
Two Saturdays are required during the training period
This position is Part Time that transitions to Full Time within 6-12 months from the start date
